Maple Cream Bonbons Servings : 1 Categories : Candies 1 cup butter, softened--no subs 1 3/4 pints powdered sugar 3 tablespoons Maple Extract, 1 small 1 oz bottle 1 pint walnuts, chopped 1 pint Chocolate Chips, Semi-Sweet Morsels, for melting 1 cup butterscotch chips, for melting In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugar and maple flavoring until smooth. Stir in walnuts. Shape into 1-inch balls; place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Freeze until firm (I left in for 1 hour---could do about 45 minutes). In a microwave or heavy saucepan, melt the chips; dip balls and place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until hardened. STORE IN THE REFRIGERATOR.
